Dear Friends,

I have been deeply immersed in my activism, organizing, and writing processes. With so much of my work, I am busy looking forward. I would like to take a moment to look back on my author interview with Shahnaz Radjy, who interviewed me about my self-published poetry chapbook After Midnight in 2021.

Our conversation has found a new home on Shahnaz's website, which also has information about her self-published debut novel. Shahnaz initially published our interview on Two Drops of Ink Literary Blog by Marilyn L. Davis who has since passed away. Marilyn’s work is rooted in addiction recovery empowerment, and I started writing about my own recovery journey at her encouragement.

I am grateful our conversation has a new home. Shahnaz writes with care, thoroughness, and an eye for detail. She gives great insight into my writing practice and process.

I talk about my writing process in a clip of my interview with upEND Movement on Instagram! In this clip, I talk about Indofuturism, a concept of my creation inspired by Afrofuturism, and how it pertains to my work. I do not know if the whole interview will be posted, though it sure is cool to see this clip of it!

Watching the clip reminded me to make progress on my essay on Indofuturism. I am also working on one of my philosophical projects this week, the title of which is under wraps for now. Please scroll down to the bottom of my updated linktree and support me with a financial donation if you have the means to do so.

Thank you for your attention!
