I thought I was going to write a different newsletter and this came out instead. We have to stop what is happening while figuring out how to keep going, too. We are, and have always been, more powerful than we realize, and this is by design, so let’s take our power back.
If you looked at my life
And see what I've seen
Dear Comrades,
A new America is here. Those of us who have been doing so have been building a new country, and we have been doing so quietly. I am amongst those who have been quietly building a new country.
I spent last night celebrating the 44th anniversary of my arrival to the United States of America with a small group of dear friends who are becoming friends with each other. We have been building new countries on our own. The moments we get to be together, build with each other, and experience our new country as a collective, are so brief, and precious, and rare.
And, they are expanding. When I look back to just five years ago, much of the life I have now was just beginning to come into view, though I could not yet see it clearly. Now, I can.
How can I love somebody else
If I can't love myself enough to know
When it's time
Time to let go
I cannot yet see five years into the future. But, I can see what has unfolded over the past five years—lifetime movements which are difficult to summarize and wrap up briefly here—and extrapolate a vision of what is to come. But, I need your help to ensure I will be able to enjoy my future, and surely I want the same for all of us.
It is time to disrupt. It is time to withhold y/our labor. It is time to withhold y/our spending.
As Americans, we have been trained to be docile. We have been conditioned to go with the flow specifically for the sake of ease of commerce and flow of money. It is time to disrupt, so we might be able to hold onto whatever we have decided to experience as freedom.
All those pretty memories
I know you can hear me now
For the record: I love you, I love you
I miss you, I miss you
Oh, I miss you
All those pretty memories
I know you can hear me now
For the record: I love you, I love you
All those pretty memories
I know you can hear me now
For the record: I love you, I love you
All those pretty memories
I know you can hear me now
For the record: I love you, I love you
All those pretty memories
I know you can hear me now
For the record: I love you, I love you
All those pretty memories
I know you can hear me now
For the record: I love you, I love you
All those pretty memories
I know you can hear me now
For the record: I love you, I love you
If you choose capitalism, I support this for you. I personally choose collective liberation. Regardless of how we choose to live out our futures, it is time for us to disrupt, so we might be able to continue to get the choice to live as we decide to do so.
I almost did not host a gathering last night because my social energy was low. I realized at the last minute that I would regret not doing so, and I am so glad I did. The gathering changed the course of my day(/week/month/year/decade/life).
I was deeply inspired by my arrival day celebration. The conversation shifted in the most beautiful and natural ways as beloveds rotated into and out of the virtual space. Please see below for important updates about my upcoming courses and my GoFundMe campaign to help me raise funds to monetize my newsletter.
Love, Ryan <3
I'm tellin' you the truth
I hope I'm not being too cruel
Since you ain't playing by the rules
I'm 'bout to kick you off your stool
Evil, don't you test me
Evil, you won't win
Oh why world
Why world
Do want me to be so mad yeah
So mad yeah
Oh why world
Why world
Do you want me to be so mad yeah
So mad yeah
I am a warrior princess
I have come from the other sun
Gather all of your members
Unite them as one
Move together in harmony
Build a bridge
Now destroy a bridge
Eliminate your weakness
Conquer evil, the demon
And live forever together

Thanks to Catalina C., Chris T., and Courtney & Mitch R., I have raised $321.80 towards the $517 annual fee with beehiiv, the service I have intentionally selected for my newsletter. I appreciate your donations so much it brings tears to my eyes as I type this sentence. Please donate here if you can afford to do so. <3
Letter Writing as a Spiritual Practice #2 will now start this Sunday, April 12 at 3pm. There are still spots left! I have an incredibly cool group of writers coming together, please reach out to me directly to sign up, and with any questions you may have. <3
Instead of my second course, my Unnamed Workshop, I have decided to offer independent poetic studies. I will work individually with anyone who is interested, teaching you poetic forms of my own creation, and I will write along with you, too. I am looking forward to working with those of you who have signed up, please reach out to me if you would like to sign up, too! <3
To those who have sent me emails, thank you for your messages. I truly love reading them! I do aim to reply to every email (even those I received in response to BMBR #34 in December) and I hope to spark ongoing side conversations. <3

If I’m not writing in bed or taking a walk, I am usually always sitting here, daydreaming, thinking, and/or writing. I have loved sitting here so much—it has been five years now! As I think about leaving, it feels so hard to have to do so, because I have done so much sitting right here in this spot, so much chatting and chilling and letting go and moving forward…
